Work Packages

We have identified 7 work-packages (WP1 to WP7) covering all the important activities. We provide below a graphical presentation of the components showing their interdependencies.

We decided not to represent interdependencies between the WP1, responsible for the overall management of the project, and others WPs as this relationship is straightforward. Others interdependencies are less obvious.

• WP2 (Use cases, specifications and databases) has strong links with WP5 and WP6 as the definition of use cases and specifications will impact on scalability objectives and on the integration. WP2 will also directly provide data for dissemination and exploitation to WP7.
• WP3 (Uni-Modal Segmentation and Authentication) will provide basis components for WP4 (Bi-Modal Authentication and Model Adaptation), WP5 (Scalability), WP6 (Integration and Demonstration) and WP7 (Dissemination).
  
• WP4 (Bi-Modal Authentication and Model Adaptation) will also contribute to WP5 (Scalability), WP6 (Integration and Demonstration) and WP7 (Dissemination).
  
• WP5 is responsible for the scalability of all algorithms developed during the project and thus will directly contribute to WP6 (Integration and Demonstration).
  
• WP6 (Integration and Demonstration) outputs will be used for dissemination and exploitation purposes in WP7.
  

Work package managers and deliverable responsibles (including a substitute) for each partners have been assigned. WP managers are:
