In addition, there are trains which will take you to Lausanne. Once in the Lausanne train station you can change to a train going to Martigny. For more information on the Swiss rail system schedule, go to http://www.rail.chFrom Train Station to the Conference venue Idiap-Centre du Parc is located within walking distance from the train station. If you don't have too many heavy bags and can easily walk 5-10 minutes. To reach Idiap-Centre du Parc on foot from the train station just pass under the tracks (tunnel) and follow the sign "Centre du Parc".
