One of the visions driving the AMI Consortium's current work is engagement; that is, making it easier for people who are using technology to connect to a meeting that otherwise they cannot attend. One of the problems for someone on a telephone connection is that they cannot tell what the people at the meeting are paying attention to, especially when they are using a data projector.

Our first demonstration in this area uses the screen of a mobile telephone to convey both where the people in the meeting are looking and the output from a single data projector, using a connection to a specially instrumented meeting room.
