Idiap is proud to award the PhD paper prize 2014 to Laurent Son Nguyen, Denise Frauendorfer, Marianne Schmid Mast and Daniel Gatica-Perez, "Hire Me: Computational inference of hirability in employment interviews based on nonverbal behavior", IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, 16(4), June 2014 for its contributions to the use of nonverbal behavior extracted from video and audio in the context of job interviews through a multidisciplinary investigation.
