Continuation of project FlexASR. Our current research is focusing towards cross-lingual and multi-lingual aspects of the FlexASR project. This one year renewal aims at bringing the PhD work to a successful completion by investigating, 1. Combination of grapheme-based and phoneme-based ASR systems. 2. KL-HMM based ASR without using phonemes.
