We are starting the 2025 Idiap Distinguished Lectures with a special guest: Samy Bengio.

Samy, an Idiap alumnus, will talk about transformers with a presentation he gave at NeurIPS in December. This is an opportunity to hear from a pioneer who shaped the field of AI, co-creating Torch (now integrated into PyTorch) during his time at Idiap, and who continues to lead in AI research at Apple.
