Idiap presented the European project MuMMER at the IROS robotics conference.
The Perception and Activity Understanding group attended the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), in Madrid.
During three days, it presented in a booth the H2020 European project MuMMER about Entertaining robots in shopping malls, in which Idiap provides all the perception components about multi-person tracking and behavior characterisation.
Two members of the group Angel Martinez and Yuanzhouhan Cao also presented their work and papers on deep learning for Body Landmark detection from depth data, as well as fast Head Pose estimation from images.
