Workshop on Foundations of Social Signal Processing
Rome, December 3-5, 2009.
The workshop aims at gathering researchers belonging to human sciences and computing communities with the goal of building a shared understanding around nature and models of social signals.
The program (available at the site of the workshop) includes key-note talks by two of the most important experts of the domain:
- Arie Nadler (University of Tel Aviv, Israel)
- Cristiano Castelfranchi (CNR, Italy)
and will be an ideal opportunity, in particular for young researchers, to share ideas with colleagues from all over Europe and to meet the new, vibrant research community flourishing around Social Signal Processing, the domain aimed at automatic understanding and synthesis of social signals.
The Workshop on Foundations of Social Signals is supported by SSPNet
