I am a PhD student at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a research assistant in the Robot Learning and Interaction (RLI) Group at the Idiap Research Institute, supervised by Dr. Sylvain Calinon. I am currently involved in two Horizon Europe projects - INTELLIMAN and SESTOSENSO.

Short Biography

  I received my M.Sc. (2023) and B.Sc. (2020) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) at the University of Zagreb. I completed my master's thesis on "Gaussian Process and Recurrent Neural Network Modeling of Nonlinear Dynamics for Model Predictive Control" during a visit to the Sensors group at the Institute of Neuroinformatics (UZH-ETHZ) in Zurich. In the fall semester of 2021/22, I was an exchange student at Aalborg University in Aalborg, Denmark. From September 2022 to February 2023, I was an intern in the Mechatronics, Robotics & Operation section (BE-CEM-MRO) at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.
