At Idiap, many different professionals work side by side: from scientific researchers to IT systems managers, including programming development specialists and project managers! Idiap is working on numerous research programs, such as the use of robots to assist humans, combating misinformation, developing energy-saving methods, improving people’s quality of life through personalized healthcare, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

A day full of discoveries awaits you: learn about the careers you can pursue at Idiap and the exciting projects our researchers are working on, as well as get an introduction to programming and interact with robots! You’ll also have the chance to tour our facilities: the server room, where powerful computers are connected by kilometers of cables; the mysterious biometrics lab, where 3D masks are stored for facial recognition testing; and the equally fascinating robotics lab. You’ll meet some of our scientists, and we’ll be delighted to answer all your questions.
