Ramviya Parasuraman joins Idiap as a new PhD student.

Ramviyas will be working on Non Invasive Adaptive Hand Prosthesis (NinaPro) SNSF Project under Dr.Barbara Caputo. He completed his Masters in Instrument Technology in 2010 from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. His Master's thesis "Mobility Enhancement for the Elderly" focused on Computer Vision and Speech processing. He spent 3 months at LST4 lab of EPFL as an Exchange student. Before joining Idiap, he was working at Oracle India as an applications developer.
