The card game Valais*Mania just arrived in Valais

Last Friday, the cards and boxes of the Valais*Mania, card game of the star-project Valais*Wallis Digital (www.valais-digital.ch) that wants to celebrate Valais’ 2015 bicentenary by digitalizing the collective memory of the canton, have been delivered to the headquarters of Migros Valais in Martigny.

The card game Valais*Mania is composed of 200 cards – of which 5 are jokers with special effects -  that have been illustrated by young artists of the EPAC school in Saxon. All cards represent a noteworthy event of Valaisan history between 1815 and 2015. To win the game, you need to put the cards in the correct chronological order as quick as possible.

Starting from April 6th, the cards will be distributed in flow packs of four during five weeks in all the Migros supermarkets in Valais. The game boxes will be for sale during the same period.

The Idiap Research Institute, coordinator of the project, and its partners are looking forward to the imminent launch of the Valais*Mania at Migros Valais and invite the entire Valaisan population to participate.
