Trinh-Minh-Tri Do, new postdoctoral researcher

Before coming to Switzerland, Trinh-Minh-Tri did a PhD in machine learning at LIP6, the computer science laboratory of Pierre and Marie Curie University, France. He worked on the development of scalable optimization techniques, and the discriminative training for sequence labeling tasks such as handwriting and speech recognition. Trinh-Minh-Tri is particularly interested in large-scale applications that necessitate efficient machine learning approaches.
