Elie Khoury is leaving the team

It’s time for change !

After nearly 4 years at Idiap working on speaker recognition but also on many other things, Elie ( http://www.idiap.ch/~ekhoury/ ) is leaving the team. Elie was also a strong contributor to BOB ( http://idiap.github.io/bob/ ) and developed the SPEAR speaker recognition library ( https://pypi.python.org/pypi/bob.bio.spear ), was involved in the collection of the Idiap voice spoofing database ( https://www.idiap.ch/dataset/avspoof ) and published many papers.

More recently, Elie was one of our asset during the Google ATAP research sprint.

Now Elie is moving to Pindrop Security where Elie’s skills but also BOB and SPEAR will be greatly appreciated.

No doubt that the expertise Elie gained over those years in the Biometrics group at Idiap will be useful for his future career.
