Idiap's Baxter robot and the research behind it featured in "Le Nouvelliste"

Thanks to Idiap researchers, the Baxter robot is able to learn from its mistakes.

New algorithms, written by the team of Dr. Sylvain Calinon, allow the robot to observe human movements, to imitate them and to adapt them to new situations. A great number of varied practical applications exist.
