Automatic Video Captioning

Klewel in partnership with the Idiap Research Institute has conducted an AMIDA mini-project on automatic captioning of video lectures.

The goal of the AMIDA mini-project was to transfer some of the technologies developed within the AMIDA project to be used by a Klewel retrieval system. More specifically, the main focus was to develop a speech-to-text application based on the AMIDA Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system.
